using reconditioned / repaired belts instead of new belts on account
of Lower capital investment, Lower Inventory Costs & Lower Interest
Costs. It may also be added that belts are always susceptible to
accident damages like through cuts, edge damages etc. In such cases
loss incurred will be much more if new belt will be used as compared
to reconditioned belt.
Thus it will be seen from all angles that by virtue of high repair
reliability, it is much more beneficial to get belt reconditioned
rather than using new belts, provided the belt casing has enough
residual strength. |
